I recently bought the Mia Messenger Bag pattern. It was a bit larger than I thought I wanted, so I made it smaller in all directions. I will make it again the original size. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The only thing I changed was to line the entire bag with RFID fabric to shield credit cards riding in the purse. I also didn't have the perfect zipper color for the outside on the back, so I added a fabric flap to camouflage it. That step isn't worth the trouble if the zipper matches. The next time I make it, I'll use stiffer interfacing in the flap because it wants to roll some.
