The essence of The Hope Handbag is style through simplicity - with a budget-friendly materials list, the use of skill building techniques to create structure, and lots of potential for customisation. The petite purse has small grab handles that are perfect for holding in your hand, and is an ideal size to carry as an every day bag.
The Hope Handbag sewing pattern guides you through how to create faux rolled handles that nestle perfectly in your hand. Inside is a zip pocket and slip pocket, and the central space is secured by a top zip closure. If you already follow Mrs H, you'll know that she's usually a huge fan of using lots of blingy hardware, however with The Hope Handbag, she's tried to keep the hardware list small. This past year has been a challenge for so many of us, and she wanted The Hope Handbag to be budget-friendly. Although The Hope Handbag is low on bling, it has a lovely large front panel to play with. You could fussy cut a feature fabric, use applique , or add a little embroidery.
