Could use a couple small improvements

It's a super cute pattern and I appreciate that it is being offered to us for free. It's quick and easy to follow along.

If I were to offer any criticism, it would be mostly a matter of personal preference/opinion:

I didn't like how it left the wrong side of the vinyl exposed, because it's not very pretty for certain vinyl (looks like the material they use looks good on both sides). I had to kind of adapt it to cover the backing. I didn't have HTV that I liked, so I just glued another layer of lining material to it.

I also didn't really like the construction of the side tab. Seems strange to use two pieces and have those raw edges rather than just folding toward the middle and then in half with one piece. You don't see the inside after it's folded, so it's fine having those raw edges on the underside and having finished edges.

Finally, general cut measurements would be helpful. I didn't want to print out all of the pattern pieces, and I used my craft cutter for the id window. It would have been just a bit easier with the measurements provided.

Again, these are just personal thoughts, and I still think this is a well written pattern!
