Swoon is a popular sewing pattern brand managed by The Make Space on behalf of Alicia, founder, designer & owner. A graphic designer by trade, Alicia fell in love with sewing many years ago & so it was a no-brainer to bring those two worlds together to start making sewing patterns. She learned to sew using commercial patterns which are vague, hard to follow, and have limited diagrams. So when she became a designer herself, she vowed to make her patterns easy to comprehend so you can learn and apply it to other projects.

Customers love the style of instruction that Alicia created to accomplish this. You don't get a million steps with a photo for each—instead you get instructions in paragraph form so you can truly understand what you're doing, along with computer drafted illustrations. The result? Patterns that are to the point, easy to understand, & most importantly, easy to execute on.
